Suntop Kennels Vaccinations
Suntop Boarding Kennel & Cattery Vaccination Policy
In order for any dog or cat to board with us at Suntop we MUST have seen a current vaccination record PRIOR to admission into the kennels/cattery.
All dogs must be vaccinated against all of the following:
- Canine parvovirus
- Canine distemper
- Infectious canine hepatitis
All cats must be vaccinated against all of the following:
- Feline Infectious enteritis
- Feline Herpesvirus
- Feline Calicivirus
All dogs and cats must have completed any primary vaccination courses (including restarts) AT LEAST TWO WEEKS before boarding.
We also strongly recommend that dogs are given the Kennel Cough vaccine, although this is not mandatory. This MUST be given AT LEAST TWO WEEKS before boarding.
We have seen an increase in titre testing. We will look at each individual case to access the suitability to board. This must be discussed well in advance of boarding and cannot be accepted just at time of check in.
We CANNOT accept pets covered by Homoeopathic vaccinations.
It is the responsibility of owners to check their pet’s vaccination status well in advance of the booked dates. Suntop cannot be held responsible for inadequately protected pets which we have to turn away. Deposits will NOT be refunded if the pet is unable to board.
Proof of vaccination, including kennel cough in the form of your dog’s up to date vaccination certificate, MUST accompany your dog on arrival with us. Your vet can provide vaccine information. If proof of vaccination is not shown on arrival we WILL NOT accept your pet for boarding.
If you have any questions regarding our vaccination policies please feel free to contact us.
