We now have two purpose built kennel blocks.

Holden Block 14 kennels, opened in 2009.

Lacey Block 28 Glass fronted kennels, opened in March 2016.

Both blocks have 3 different size kennels, to cater for all sizes of dogs and families of dogs.

The dogs have access to the outside run throughout the day time and depending on the weather right up until bedtime. We shut the trap doors overnight keeping your dog in the sleeping area from a security and warmth point of view. Both blocks have heating in every kennel so we can meet each individual dog’s needs.

All dogs are exercised every day normally in our grass paddock area. If you have more than one dog they can be exercised together.

Diets Available

We feed Skinners Dog Food to Boarders.  This can also be purchased in our shop.

Diets on Offer

  • Skinners maintenance, suitable for dogs of all ages. Chicken based.
  • Duck & Rice Hypoallergenic diet for dogs with sensitivity issues.
  • Wagg Complete
  • Tinned Butchers, Pedigree chum, Ceasar, Winalot

If your dog is a fussy eater, diet sensitive or if you would prefer us to feed your dogs regular food from home please bring enough to last the duration of their stay.

If your dog is on a veterinary prescription diet we ask that you supply this for the duration of their stay.

With regards to feeding frequency, we will feed your pet according to your instructions. We provide treats in the form of biscuits treats, gravy bones, bonios etc during their stay with us please let us know on if you would prefer us not to do so. You are of course welcome to bring all of your dog’s favourite treats and biscuits from home.

Exercise and Play

We believe a well exercised and stimulated dog is a happy dog. We have two securely fenced outdoor paddocks to allow your dog plenty of ‘off the lead’ running. We take them out once a day and they are with a member of staff so they have someone to interact with. Dogs from the same family can be exercised together.

We are now delighted to be able to offer two new artificial grass areas, one which is fully undercover.  This is great for playtime when the weather is not so kind.

Bedding & Toys

We provide all bedding for your pets throughout their stay.

We are happy for owners to bring your pets favourite toys and treats from home. We do not share your dogs’ personal toys with any of our other boarders.

We supply all baskets and bedding. We use ‘Vetbed’ which is a non-allergen, anti-chew fleece recommended by veterinarians worldwide. ‘Vetbed’ retains heat by trapping air within the fibres, helping to keep your dog warm and cosy. With unique drainage properties, if your pet should have an accident, the ‘Vetbed’ will drain the liquid through, keeping the top of the bedding dry, so your pet stays warm and dry. ‘Vetbed’ is the only bedding that can be laundered at 90 degrees and dries in minutes.
