I am owner manager Liz Lacey. I bought Suntop in May 2004 with husband Bart. I think everyone who knows me will agree I am passionate about pets! My aim is to continue to raise the standards of this business and to provide the best possible care for your pet.
I hold a BA(hons) degree in Business Studies along with Animal First Aid, Microchip Implanter Certification and Association of Pet dog Trainers Preliminary practical assessment.
I have many years of experience with a variety of animals, including working for Guide Dogs for the Blind, manageress of a large pet store and a riding instructor in a large riding school.
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. During childhood years there were hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs and then came the horses, dogs and cats.
I enjoy competing with my own dogs mainly in showing, but also participate in obedience, agility and gundog work. I am very proud of my own dogs and what they have achieved. Please see www.fleetpaw.co.uk.
My husband Bart is a huge support and does a lot to help with the smooth running of Suntop. He holds down his own full time job but is also chief maintenance man at Suntop.
Since been at Suntop we are slowly but surely updating the facilities. We now have our new kennel block and cattery with plans passed for another kennel block in the near future.
